Has anyone got a proven method for cleaning copper? I have a very large copper plate/tray that I want to bring back the lustre to. I have tried lemon, bicarb, coca cola, duraglit etc. but it still looks very dull and matt.

That Astonish paste shouldn't be used on copper.

Copper shouldn't look brand spanking new, brass yes, but not copper. You can do more harm than good and ruin the patina if you're not very careful.
