Changing TL to GBP

Normally, we would tell all our visitors to bring their GBP to the TRNC and buy their TL here as the rate is always better than purchasing in the UK.

My question is if I need a couple of thousand pounds to go to the UK, am I better taking my TL to UK and changing it there? Will I get more GBP for my money?

I have always found whether you are changing to TL in the UK or if you are buying Sterling in the UK, the rates are always worse....especially at the airports, they are scandalous.....

Change it at the bank in the TRNC before you go to the U.K. the rates in the U.K. are usually miles apart both ways.
