Near East Hospital Karakum

Although only a one day stay as patient following an Angiogram, I thought it worth saying that this hospital was absolutely wonderful on hygiene, efficiency, care and facilities. All nurses were very efficient and knew their jobs, and operating staff and cardiologist Dr. Ilker could not have been better, putting me at my ease and also treated me with utmost respect. Highly recommended. Also, always a worry, cost was reasonable and they only did what was necessary.

My husband went through same procedure in Feb, they had to transport him to Lefkosa as Karakum did not have the facility at the time but everything was spot on! Check ups have been at Karakum with Dr Ilker and once again absolutely faultless ! Beautiful hospital and easy to get too.......

I have had treatment from Dr. Turk over the period of the last 3 weeks, and found him and his staff very very good and very reasonably priced. Many people are recommending this hospital.

It is in Karakum, turn left by The Stroll In and follow the red line in the road.

DrTurk is brilliant just keep clear of their urologist. Your next operation is his down payment on a new BMW

If anyone needs a really good urologist then see Dr Ismet at the Etik Hospital in Lefkosa. A very very professional doctor who actually asks a million questions, writes the answers down and takes a very professional approach to the problem. Not at all interested in interventions unless they are really necessary. Amongst the three best doctors I have have met on this island.
