Alsancak Water Charges on New Water Meters

Is there anyone out there who claims to be an expert on how Alsancak charge for their water credit?

Just put 300TL credit on my card. Was given 2 receipts. 1 receipt for 200TL - 43 tons of water and 1 receipt for 100TL - 20 tons!!!!!!!! A few weeks ago I put my first credit payment on my card of 100TL and got 23 tons!!!!!!!!!!!

Confused.com!!!!!!!!!!!!

The price per tonne increases when you buy in bulk - as explained to me by the belediye when i recently went in to pay. I was advised to pay 60tl per month and from this they would take the monthly belediye charge and put the balance on the water card.

Thanks for the info Chatterbox. Unfortunately the Belydere administrator did not point out to me that I would be penalised for buying water in bulk!

Do you or anyone else happen to know what the charges per ton are for water only and after how many tonnes the price per tonne increases?
