An Abnormal Day for St. George

The Abnormals once again turned out in force to support the EFRAR 2017 supporting Tulips George's Day event.
They are a specialist act, who perform in their amazing costumes and shake their collection boxes for donations and photos with the group. They also combine music and comedy at a number of shows throughout the year in restaurants in the Esentepe area.

Dedicated to raising money for EFRAR 2017 supporting Tulips they perform at many of our events, particularly the Fun Run in April, and have raised so much money for us this year that we were proud to award them the Carrington Shield for their outstanding contribution to EFRAR.
At George's Day on 2nc May, Mary Watson, Chair of EFRAR 2017, supporting Tulips, presented them with their trophy, which they keep, in appreciation of their all their efforts.

A second trophy was also presented to Alison Bone of The Abnormals for her additional fund raising cooking meals at The Kuzzy Bar in Esentepe and giving all the profit to EFRAR 2017 supporting Tulips.

Mary Watson commented: “These are very special people with big hearts who put in so much effort for us. They are funny, generous and loads of fun and we really appreciate their continued support.”
