Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me......my father is looking to buy a car.....to be specific a manual 4x4 small jeep, preferably 10 years old or newer.....there are many jeeps for sale, but I have had real trouble trying to find a manual one, and it has to be 4x4 as his road can get rather bad in the winter months. Does anyone know anyone who has one for sale, or any dealerships/galleries that have any or if they can order one in?? I tried Cangar and Artesa and they said they can't help. I'm checking online on kktc arabam and there's nothing suitable on there.
Any advice, suggestions, personal experiences welcomed....
Many thanks

we had a suziki jeep with automatic gears and it never let us down on even the roughest of tracks, we went off road a lot.got into some mud upto middle of wheels, put into 4 wheel drive and came straight out.

Go with Auto, never had a problem here or anywhere else in the world. You can actually get yourself into more trouble with manual on really bad roads by trying too hard in the wrong gears, auto will not let you do that. Even deep soft sand can be dealt with easier in auto than in manual. I am probably as old as your dad and would never go back to manual on anything - but that is me - if your dad is convinced that manual is best then try the Suzuki range, for out here they are perfect, light and easy to handle as well.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Thank you all for your thoughts.....he really does want a manual...my Dad is no spring chicken (his words) and he said his brain just can't switch to using an automatic.....he tried driving a friends one and ended up having a minor accident (hitting the break pedal thinking it was the clutch) and has consequently been put off. I've sent Tiga an email as it's peace and freedom day so hope to hear back from them over the next few days. Thank you for your suzuki suggestion, I'll keep it in mind, although finding any small jeep being 4x4 manual is like finding a needle in a haystack
