Where is the best place to have Christmas lunch?
This will be our first Christmas in 9 years in Northern Cyprus.
Anyone any suggestions?
Would prefer that it was not in a hotel, do not mind somewhere small but food quality is absolutely paramount.
We certainly do not wish to sign up for a 2 day deal, we would prefer to come home to feed the local feral cat population!
Any ideas would be welcome.

some of the best places are already booked. But take a look at the Korineum golf resort. Theyhave a Christmas Eve event, a Christmas lunch event, both at £30 per person. There is an option to stay on, but not for those with animals to take care of! I expect you can find details on their web page, if not I can post more.
Lots of other restaurants will no doubt offer much, but it does rather depend on what you want to spend and what entertainmdent you may or may not want.

Well I did not even think of entertainment, but a jazz jam would be great!

I believe the Almond is fully booked for 2012. I have been told that the Ilgaz is excellent, and they must be because they are fully booked for 2012 ans 2103!! They do have a Reserve List though.

I also believe the Almond is fully booked, and would have definitely been a good choice, but Pork Shop do an excellent fresh turkey, and if you are offering to do it at home, with Pork Shop Turkey, I accept, that was so kind of you, can I bring anything? Ok just myself, no prob, will leave Kev at home, hope to see you Sunday xxx

Actually, I have no problems cooking and eating Christmas dinner at home, I do, however, enjoy a bit of entertainment.
Perhaps we will stay at home.
