Re: About Time
Great news. Last year even Turkish Airlines had no idea what time it was. We Had so many flight time changes!!!

Re: About Time
What a shame. It was far better with the slightly lighter evenings, and the mornings were still lighter than th UK at a similar time.

Re: About Time
I too loved the light evenings. I guess I'll have to think about getting up earlier instead! Not too much chance of that actually happening though!

Re: About Time
Is this true? I normally get a govt. official knock on my door to inform me of any important changes. It hasn't happened this time so I'm sticking to the old system.

Re: About Time
source is the cyprus mail? haven't heard or read anything to confirm the article is true.
i actually think changing clocks is unnecessary in this day and age and i thought it was great that they adopted the no time change system but hey ho if they do decide to revert back to the system then one of those things i guess.

Re: About Time
so do I. I am dreading the long winter evenings when I am stuck at home and I make no apology for "attacking" four by fours again". If you dont like me complaining - You try being imprisoned in your home because you cant afford (nor have room for if it comes to that) a vehicle that can compete with the blinding and high level of the type of traffic. which races when it is not gridlocked through the narrow roads of my village, and walking or using the scooter even at dusk will amount to a paritcularly unpleasant form of suicide, At least last year I had a blessed extra hour.I

Re: About Time
I'm pleased the clocks are going back, I felt oddly isolated from the world when we had a three hour time difference. I also quite enjoy the winter evenings after a long hot summer, it's all fine with me.

At least we get 9.45 kick off with the evening kick off and not 10.45 pm

Re: About Time
I would not want to watch either at any time, but what is wrong with "Listen Again" ? You can watch anything at any time you want within a reasonable period

Re: About Time
Same here!
Digiturk is one hour ahead of Cyprus time.
Says that the Formula One Grand Prix will be on air at 9 p.m but that is 8 p.m. here.
Will need to be careful when deciding to switch on for the football.
