We wish to apply for a TRNC driving licence for the first time. We are both over 60 and do not have permanent residence here. Do we need a muhtar's letter? Can we apply for the licence in Girne or do we need to go to Lefkosa? If in Girne, what is the name of the office and where is it?

The driving schools near the Wednesday market can do the application for you for a small fee, initial applications are in Lefkosa, renewals in Girne.
