Metahan crossing opening hours for insurance

Can't seem to find any recent posts on this subject, we will be landing at Larnaca around 8pm on a Friday night, just wondering if anyone knows what time the booths are open until?

I'm not sure what time they are open until, someone else will post that but is it possible to get your car hire company to get the insurance? Reason I ask, is if you are delayed and the insurance booths are closed then you will have to wait until next day to buy insurance. This happened to a guest of my neighbours so I always recommend trying to pre purchase insurance if possible.

I don't think they have any set hours! I have been over the border on numerous occasions fairly late at night and have seen them open until 1 in the morning. On the other hand I have also seen them closed by 11pm. I asked the guy there what their hours were and he seemed to be saying that it depended how busy they were! Not much help I know but would have thought that you would have found them open coming from an 8pm arrival at Larnaca.

Unless, as come_on_aylin mentioned...
