Graveyard stones etc
Is there a set time after which a headstone or surround can be put on a new grave?

Think it us usual in Turkish Cypriot graveyards to wait a year. I stand to be corrected but this is what our TC friends did.

Speaking from experience, I think it would be unwise to put a headstone on a grave in under a year. The graves here are dug very deep and you need to leave time for the ground to subside - a dry summer, followed by a wet winter should do the trick.

My mum is in Green Hill and we were told 18 months to 2 years.
