can anyone tell me how to stop games running in the background,there must be a way of stopping them

Fistly, always hit the4 'Back' button when exiting any app.

If that doesn't do it, go to settings>application manager/apps>running applications, and then select the app that you wish to stop.

Click on 'Force Stop' or, if you don't want it to ever run again, 'disable' or 'uninstall'.

Some games do seem to be designed to just keep running regardless - most annoying!
