Did you know that the current commander of the Türk Yıldızları display team is a woman ... and why not you say ... yeah, why not ... still though, it seems so cool to have a woman at the helm of the Stars.

Her name is Esra Özatay, and in this photo, taken earlier today, she and her team can be seen accepting a memorial plaque from the TRNC Interior Minister, Ayşegül Baybars.
