My daughter arrived last night we went and topped up the above last used in September. Didnt connect so off to Turkcell. Oh its an english one you have to go to Lefkosia register it and pay duty plus a 50 tl fee. So 79tl down the drain as its such a kerfuffle and shes only here a short time. Plan B Put the sim card in a friends device also from the uk a couple of years ago never registered and it works fine. I thought this registering thing only applied to phones!

We bought a dongle a few years ago, we had to register it, it did not cost anything we had to show a passport
