Dog friendly Beaches in Alsancak area.

Good morning.

Could someone tell me if there are any beaches in or near Alsancak where it is permissible to walk dogs.?

You can walk on them but watch for the broken bottles. I never take my dog as I'm in fear of the vet's bill.

When we rescued our two dogs from KAR, we were later told that no dogs were permitted on any beaches in Cyprus. Whilst walking them months later on an isolated beach far east of Tatlisu. we were shooed away by a local who was setting up a fishing rod. I would advise seeking the view of Alsancak Belidiyse, rather than relying on expats views/whispers. Once you have a definite answer, perhaps you could post it?

Poison is another thing you have to be careful of. I think Tomsteel is correct, better to check than fall out with the locals. of course there is Distemper to take into consideration if you find yourself being followed by strays. Just because it isn't on the headlines anymore, doesn't mean that it's gone away!!!
