Does anyone know the procedure for changing details of the engine number on the vehicle's kocan ?

Speaking from memory;

First; emissions test
Then take paperwork from engine supplier showing all duties paid to the hellhole in Lefkosa, get form for MOT centre also in Lefkosa,after men at MOT centre confirm that yes it is a different engine take form back to hellhole, wait about two hours in queue, new engine number is added to logbook, pay fee.
