Amazon fire stick

A friend of mine has kindly lent me an Amazon fire stick, I have it working but if buffers like crazy? My internet speed is over 15 MB so I dont think its that? Someone told me this morning it should never buffer? Does anyone on the forum use one please?

We use one and it depends what you are watching. If we had that speed it wouldn't buffer unless we were watching something in 1080. So more information about what you are watching may help. If it is sport through any of the channels it is a nightmare but films and catch up TV normally fine.

We have an ordinary one, not the newest 4g and using it in Dipkarpaz, were internet is possibly not as good as Girne area. Yen(on this forum) set it up and it buffers hardly at all. We seem to be able to get everything. We do pay for prime(as we use it also for storing important images}

Depends . I have a first generation one and it is useless. The 2nd generation (the one with Alexa ) normally is ok . As is the4k.
