Who are they??

Yesterday the police came to our house and showed us a couple of peoples names(or one person, not sure) and asked us if we knew this person /those people. They were German names

PETER BERNDT HEINZ KIRCHNER, written like this, it could be two people or one person with three first names.

The police man was a local man and did not even know that the names were German. I presume they came to us , as we are the only foreigners living permanently in Dipkarpaz. I don't know these names. Does anybody else?
I'm now curious. nobody here knows anything.

Sounds like 2 names, Peter Berndt and Heinz Kirchner. One of our friends here is called Berndt.

I also asked my friend, who's brother is a police man, but he said he can't talk about it. Now I'm even more curious.

No idea, but I reckon it is two men. I have googled the names, but that is not much help at all. several heinzx kirchners from journalists to medics, and as for Peter B there appears to have been a property manager of that name who retired this year. But of course that might have nothing to do with these men. If the matter is confidential, then it would seem that they are being sought in connection with some enquiries (as they say). If I hear anything, I will let you know Dippers girl, but by p.m. Interesting! I cannot imagine the police are making enquiries without good cause.

Hi Dippersgirl, I know a Heinz Kirsner a German who visits N Cyprus although I haven't een him here for a few years. I may be able to contact him via a relative who lives here.
