We have, since yesterday afternoon, been invaded on our outside walls by thousands and thousands of tiny fly type creatures. We do not know what they are or where they came from. Never had them before but they are literally covering our outside walls and flying around.

Anyone any ideas. We are between Bahceli and Kucuk Erenkoy. Thanks

Think they are midges proabbaly as a result of a wet or damp winter. We had them in Karaagac but appears they have moved East for now at least. They are annoying but don’t appear to bite and according to the internet almost impossible to get rid of

If they are the same species, they seem to be connected to the harvest and we get them each year....These little bu**ers certainly bite, and will be around until after the harvest.

Clouds of them in my garden in Ozankoy certainly dont bite but uncomfortable to walk through if disturbed, assumed they were Fruit flies, I do spray and use the sticky cards so was surprised when they suddenly appeared first year I've seen these numbers.
