Can somebody tell me if I have a 4g dongle will it work in NC

I can't see why not - 4G devices are normally 'backwards compatible', so even if you are in an area with only 3G coverage (or worse), it should work. You will probably need a local SIM card, and may need to download a configuration file from your chosen Service Provider (usually sent as a Service Text, I believe).Naas 26 wrote:Hi all

Users of Vodaphone dongles may know differently
Bear in mind that if you have an Android 'phone and a data package, then you should be able to use the 'phone as a 'hotspot' which avoids having two separate data packages...

Thanks Keith we have been using them for years in NC but had to update it. New Dongle is not locked.to any network so should be ok
