Hi Soner, not to hand. However, just like everybody else, I can research it for myself and look it up, rather than expecting somebody else to do this for me. There are some really lazy posters on your forum, IMHO!

If you email oceanspa@acapulco.com.tr they get back to you pretty quickly.

I emailed them about some spa package prices over the winter. Pretty sure one of their managers gets on here. Probably too busy at the moment though with it being holiday season.

Soner, my point is - being internet savvy or not, many posters are too lazy to do a basic search, wanting others to do their basic research work and several PMs to me support my view. If my view means I shall be banned, so be it, as disappointed as I shall be. Your decision.

Poster is new to the forum, only 6 posts. It would put me off returning if I had similar response. One of the main uses of the forum is for members to pose questions. Members need not answer should they not wish to help.

Excellent response Soner. I fully agree with your view. I have found this Forum to be very useful on many occasions, thanks to the willingness of most posters.

I fully accept that people can research stuff themselves, but if they choose instead to ask for assistance that is their prerogative. If you do not wish to help, just ignore the post and get on with your life. I read one response to a request for assistance, where the response was along the lines of, 'If you want to know the answer just Google it yourself. I just did, but I am not going to tell you what I found'. There is absolutely no point in such a response, IMHO.

In May the Acapulco charged 50tl for the day. This gave access to sunbeds, pools, waterslides and cafés/restaurant. Would recommend.

My, My, - you certainly dug deep to find that one!

If you must know, I was winding up 'Mowgli' who took it in good part, and responded in like manner.

If you are not aware of the context of posts, please don't try to use them to further your agenda or re-inforce your prejudices...

Having said that, I do agree that we should all make allowances for 'Newbies', and whilst giving them the information that they require, find a - perhaps - gentler way of pointing out that there are easier ways to find the answers, - some of which are built into the forum itself!

It is all too easy to become irritated by a poster's perceived 'laziness' when in reality, it is a lack of familiarity with the Internet and with the search facilities built into the forum itself.

I am as guilty as anyone else!

I think to expect free drinks all day when for 180tl Day Pass, you get - unlimited use of all facilities, unlimited lunch with unlimited local alcohol (12.00 - 2.30) is pushing it a bit. And yes, sometimes when passing on the main road, the smell at the Elexus is dreadful. We had to close the car windows when driving by about 3 months ago.

I received this short reply from Cratos.

Our daily entrance is in the week 50TL, in the weekend 70TL which included sunbed, umbrella and our other services (WC, shower etc)
The pool entrance costs 100TL

No mention of food- drink packages.

They should all be advertising their daily rates.

From Lords Palace

Lords Palace
Daily use entry fees are 40TL weekdays and 60TL weekends. Our cabanas are 350TL weekdays and 600TL weekends. You can use up to 6 people. We serve you water per person, welcome drinks, fruit platter and towels in this price. Also we have Food & Beverage Package Cabanas which costs 1000TL weekdays, 1400TL weekends. You still get the complimentary water per person, welcome drinks, fruit platter and towels but your spending limit will be 1000 or 1400TL. You can order from the menu drinks and food up to your limit. If you pass that limit you will pay extra. So you won’t pay for the cabana you just pay your food and drinks. For the spice open buffet prices 85TL for lunch and 100TL for dinner 2 glasses of alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages included.

Any questions on the above messages just go on their Facebook page & send them a message. They get back very quickly.
Hope this helps
