What is the merit of being the country that would go down in history as the person who instigated the war. In any case, start a war with a European country and you start a war with the rest of Europe. Not very wise in my opinion.

There will be no war, just posturing to protect the rights of the Turkish people in Cyprus, something has to be done to get them to act in a fair and reasonable manner and sit down and agree. Mind you looking at the deal that was struck by the greek Cypriots at over $70 a barrel and split the profits, with the current price around $50 a barrel, there won't be any profits to split...

Turkey has a very very powrful army . Its been purged of the gulenists and now comes directly under the presidents command . So far he hasnt been afraid to use it with invasions into syria etc . Nobody knows where the limits lie ot what the intentions are or planned .

It would seem that the most equitable solution would be the assets of Cyprus should be allocated in proportion. EG the TRNC should get a third or whatever is the accurate proportion of its territory/people. Neither of the three countries economies is in great shape so to try and monopolise this windfull can only lead to problems
