Electric Water Cards
So, since mis-placing my card and being told it will cost 75tl for a new one..It got me to thinking, are the cards actually designated for each personal meter?
I mean, can anyones card, that has been topped up, and be used for any meter?
Does anyone know or has tried topping up with someone elses card?

Certainly in Esentepe they are for individual meters. I have 3 for neighbours and quite often get them mixed up. They don't work in other meters.

Definitely not.

Aww crap....guess this means I will have to buy a new one...but 75tl seems rather steep to me for a bit of plastic

Based on the manufactures information they are personalised for a given meter.
DD it is not just “bit of plastic” it contains electronics.

Did it work Daisy as it might help others especially at moment if people looking after other people places could come in handy

Doesn't work in Bellapais / girne meters, I often get the cards muddled
