What i liked particularly was the poetry on the boxes

"There are many hopes behind hopelessness. There are many suns behind the darkness."

A though a feeling to go with the PPE enclosed

It also reflected the moto of my home town

Out of darkness cometh light

During and after this we will all need each other

Well at least Turkey is doing something to help other Nations, no matter what the underlying motive may be. I notice that the UK news, in particular the Govt mouthpiece of the BBC has made very little if any mention of this help being received. However the Sun (only found it there through searching) has a report on it at least.

So the UK, still heading towards standing alone and trading with anyone, can't even support its own country now, just wonder what it will be like at the end of June when Boris crashes out of the EU - to Get it Done!
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

And without the EU do you imagine that countries like Germany and Netherlands and others would be seeking to aid Italy and Spain more than with it ? IMO the EU despite all it flaws and faults creates a significant degree of obligation on nations to support each other than would exit without it.

Turkey flies a second planeload of personal protective equipment including masks and suits to Britain to help in the fight against coronavirus
The first flight from Ankara took off Friday carrying personal protective equipment including surgical masks
A second flight from Turkey landed Saturday at Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, the defence ministry confirmed
250,000 items of PPE were delivered to Britain, including 50,000 N-95 face masks, 100,000 surgical masks
Turkey donated medical supplies to Italy and Spain - who like the UK are NATO allies - as well as Balkan states

Trouble is, the NHS is pleading for full length coveralls etc and they are so slow in coming. Even part of a huge delivery of PPE from China was wrongly marked and should have been clothing but turned out to be more masks. I know many Care Homes are crying out for anything to help them so they'll still go to the correct place hopefully.

There was a piece on AlJazeera this morning saying there is a worldwide shortage of PPE and countries are engaged in a bidding war to secure what they need.
