Easyjey hold bags
For anyone who has booked or was going to book with easyjet.... they have an offer of 1 euro each way per bag . This has to be booked by this Friday. So if you have already booked your, flight ,but not booked your bags then now is the time. Normal price is 37 quid each way. If however the flight does not go then you will lose your 2,euro. ! No brainer .
Hope this posting saves you some money.

Let’s hope they are still around after some form of normality resumes.
Talk that they are looking to the UK Government for a bail out alongside Virgin Atlantic.

Funnily enough this morning EasyJet announced their last 6 months figures. They have lost £250 million!!!! With no way out of current worldwide restrictions that figure is going to get a hell of a lot worse.

lufthansa annouced that they lose 1 million euros.. each hour.
comes to approx 750 million a month.
the CEO also said that "after the crisis" the lufthansa group will be "half the size".
they already executed Germanwings, which was flighing for Eurowings.
i do not see much hope for some... also reg "cheap flight carriers" to NC, because TR must save (bail out?) Turkish airlines first.

Re: Easyjey hold bags
I can't helping wondering if the world is going to be a more pleasant place to live when then pandemic is well and truly over. I know for a fact that staying at home and not having to shop as much has been wonderful and the internet is so much more appreciated than it was. Conference calls etc replacing endless visits and flying here there and everywhere cannot be a bad move. One of my sons-in-law has a responsibility for a huge multi-national company with offices in the Far East, South America, Australia and all of Europe and he carries out conference calls all day and every day from home. Hence NO FLYING for him. I also appreciate more where I live, and my dogs and a more simpler life in general. Skype is wonderful and I keep in touch with New Zealand, Australia and UK with NO need of EasyJet, Lufthansa etc.

I can't imagine only ever having to appreciate my place in Esentepe from my armchair in UK via CCTV. Though if i flew out when this is all over and Mandy stayed in the UK i could try keeping in touch with her via Skype

Re: Easyjey hold bags
EasyJet chairmen announces that ALL future flights will fly without the middle seats being sold ( for the purpose of social distancing!!!). Won’t stop passengers climbing over the aisle passengers to get to the toilets ( used by everyone on board) .
Also will have a huge cost implications on every flight I guess.

Re: Easyjey hold bags
Thank you Striker.
Had 2 easyJet flights booked for June and November without hold luggage.
Thanks to your post I was able to add 22 kg hold luggage for 99p each way.
Now just have to keep our fingers crossed everything goes to plan.
Good luck everyone and stay safe.

Easyjet have today re-instated the refund procedure on their website.
This will save a lot of time and effort trying to get through to them on the phone.
