POISON warning Lapta

" POISON - WARNING - POISON
Near Teo's Restauarant/Bar in Lapta. There is NO suggestion at all that this was/is connected to the restaurant/bar - they are named purely so that pet owners know/aware of the area affected - which we do, if possible, on Poison cases - so owners are clear of the specific area.
In the last 24 hours 2 cats and i dog have died as a result of being poisoned. We do not know what type of poison but PLEASE PLEASE be careful - keep your furry friends safe."

This has happened many times before in the same area, I believe. There is a suspect shepherd up that way who seems to be a serial offender so please all be careful.

Good Grief, is that shepherd still at it. Years and years ago he was the chief suspect - the police, the Muhtar and all of the village were aware, but nothing done at all. Just a brief stop, and then would start again.

Without being able to prove (by photograph) who is doing this, the police will do nothing and the sorry situation will continue. It's a heartbreaking situation for those with pets that live in the area, you can keep a dog on a lead but cats will wander.

In Lapta, on Şehit Şevket Kadir Caddesi - which is above the road (Ankara Caddesi) that runs through Lapta from Alsancak, see this map - Teo's is in the lower right of the map.

Glad to help - unfortunately, this does not help the distraught people who have had their beloved pets killed because someone threw poisoned food into their gardens...

That is far beyond the pale - while putting down poison for such as rats, where it just MIGHT be accessible to other creatures, may be justifiable, the person (?) above should be hunted down like a wild and dangerous animal - and caged similarly.
