THE LODGE..CATALKOY.....well,what can i say????

i saw advertised that the lodge in catalkoy were doing a 3 course 24tl meal deal...we'd been out shopping and felt peckish..so decided to give it a go....didn't expect much for 24tl,but couldn't be bothered to cook or get spruced up to go out dining....so we stopped on the way home for a quick feed..and was more that pleasantly surprised.!
nice chicken liver pate,salad,toast,garlic butter and olives to start...
then two huge main meals came out....
chicken and mushroom crepe,home cooked chips and salad and large scampi n chips with salad...which were both freshly cooked and filled 2 big plates!!...absolutely lovely and very tasty.
strawberrys and cream and 3 large profriterols with cream for desert...again,lovely..
credit where credit is due...good honest pub grub,cooked well and service was excellent......need a lie down now on the sofa
well done the lodge,you'll be seeing us again!!

Always good standard pub food, great in summer with lots of space for kids (if you have them) to run around
