Digiturk no premier league football.

Tried to get Premier league football on Digiturk today to no avail. Rang them up only to be informed that they are not showing PL football but are in negotiations to renew a deal? Would have been nice to have been informed. I have looked at the Satellite Cyprus option, are there any other (paid for) satellite options available that have Bein Sports and or stations that have Premier league football.

Many thanks.

We have satellite Cyprus hubby loves his footie. Very happy with it. Occasional problems when weather is bad, but overall he is a happy bunny. Been with them years. Paul and Gwyn are great and very helpful and accessible.

I have to agree with Mrs Gee - Paul and Gwyn provide an excellent service, 'above and beyond', by all accounts :)

This also happened about 3-4 years ago and a deal was finally done by October.
The S Sport channel (85) is very popular in Turkey so hopefully they will eventually agree the fee!
Incidentally the S Sport link is available on the LiveNet TV app if you have a Firestick.

Thanks for the info. Our Cypriot neighbour said there is a problem with S Sport from Turkey and he said maybe back on Monday / Tuesday. I will see what happens, then see about Satellite Cyprus.

We have a system, but it requires a MAG box, can send you the details if required. Works perfectly for us. Full Sky, BEIN etc etc. 3000 films.

Thanks Hair Cut, we are using an android box and a firestick. They are both good for films and tv shows and downloads (android) but live sports always seem to buffer or just hit and miss. Is the Mag box better?

BeIN is satellite
You can watch that on an android phone using the mobdro app

Can you do so with the same degree of reliability (frequency of pausing, picture break up etc) ?

In my experience Mobdro isn't reliable.
We have had Satellite Cyprus internet based with Mag box package for over two years now and are very pleased with it. We are often able to watch when others have difficulty.

My reply was more related to the only on satellite comment.

I wouldn't have mobdro as a main means of viewing but it's handy as a portable back-up if in a bar/home with good wifi.

In my experience there is a very real and strong and consistent over time correlation between degree of reliability and two principal factors. How the signal is sent. Degree of legitimacy of the source.

Signals that are sent over transport systems that were designed for the singular purpose of broadcasting such signals and nothing else and that are controlled beginning to end by a single entity (satellite TV systems), are just more consistently reliable than those sent over transport systems never designed for the singular purpose of broadcasting video content controlled by 10's if not hundreds of separate entities between beginning and end (internet).

The greater the legitimacy of the source of the video content, not what the content is but who is sending it, the greater the reliability.

These two factors combine.

So watching sky sports over the internet on mobdro will not be as reliable as watching it over the internet using sky's own sky go /now tv app and a valid sky subscription. This in turn will not be as reliable as watching via a sky satellite dish and receiver.

I have the MAG322, used to have MAG250. It seems the processior is much quicker.

Had a Firestick for a little time got fe up with re booting it.
