First time TRNC has stand at tourism fair in Earl's Court

For the first time, the TRNC is represented at this tourism fair in London's Earl's Court called “Destinations - The Holiday & Travel Show 2013”.

The fair, now in its 19th year, is apparently one of the most visited in the UK. At the TRNC's 32-square-metre stand, shown below, besides Ministry of Tourism representatives, three companies, operating in the UK, have tables - The New President Holidays, Cyprus Premier Holidays and Direct Traveller.

According to the report, besides giving information about Northerrn Cyprus, they are also handing out brochures, maps, pens, CDs, USBs and cloth bags (ie. "kumaş heybeler" - I'm not certain what they are.)

I am sorry Ian but it is not the first time the TRNC has a stand at the tourism fair at Earls Court. They have one every year. For 12 years my husband was the Hoteliers President and every year he (we) and lots of other hoteliers attended it.

We are there too! Stand E13.
We were at the Manchester Destinations show 2 weeks ago and it was really busy!

Were your stands representing North Cyprus as a whole or your companies in particularly. I've never heard or seen of a stand headed by the government of North Cyprus, as this one in the picture does

It writes in the report that before this year there have been tour operators representing the TRNC Minstry of Tourism there, and indeed ministry representives overseeing it all, but according to the report this is the first year the ministry have attended with the name "North Cyprus". We are thus led to presume that up until now the stand only had the tour operators' names written on it.
