Killing bamboo
Other than digging it out, is there anyway of killing bamboo off? We've had a large hedge cut back and now the bamboo is coming back quickly. I did wonder if injecting it with neat knockout might work!

gilly123, as long as the active ingredient in Knockout is Glyphosate you should be ok using it as per the manufacturers instructions. Its a systemic herbicide so is absorbed through the leaves and the effects should be visible by ten days after application. Best applied in the evening for a better 'take up', the the healthier the target, the better efficiency although in some instances it might be necessary for a repeat application. Good luck
