Travel UK to TRNC via Larnaca 6/03/2020

On landing Larnaca the whole flight got bused to area to show Cyprus flight pass and have "free"PCR test. got texted result late that evening. At Pyla they did not want to see Guvende Kal had spent ages filling out and trying to scan Vaccinations, they just wanted to see print out of NHS vaccinations. Relieved it was so simple but frustrated about time and stress levels of completing something didn't need anyway..

Was it a PCR test or a literal flow test?

I flew into larnaca. same day did not need any test just showed vaccination record.

it was a PCR, they must be doing random tests.

My wife coming to TRNC on Saturday via Larnaca.
She fully vaccinated and filled in the Cyprus flight pass.
Not sure what she needs for entry at the border.
Tried doing the Guvendekal online thing but doesn’t send her the verification code to continue.
Looked at opening the TRNC travellers form to fill in and print off but there’s no content there !
Last time we came in September we had to fill in the ADA pass which compared to this was relatively simple.
Ada pass she had has expired now and won’t let her back in.
At a loss now what else to do, and considering just arriving at the crossing point and doing what needs doing there as advised by the people there.
Any help or advise appreciated.

You can update the ada pass by registering has new, ignore the already have account part
https://guvendekalkktc.com/travel-code/register is the form you fill in giving your contact details phone number ect I think it will only accept details 72 or 48 hrs before flight if I remember correctly.

only asked for passport and records of your vaccinations at pyla.

Got to a stage on the Guvendekal app that said success but it didn't show a QR code on the page as it said should be there.
So taken a screen shot of that and printed a copy of vaccine status so hopefully that will be good enough.
Do find all this a bit frustrating and can see this will put people off traveling to TRNC .
Maybe as we have Hawawei phone and possibly not the most up-to-date iPad the app may not be supported? Who knows but just makes things a chore .

Hi Marc, We travelled 2nd March london to trnc via Larnaca. Same happened to us with the Guvende Kal app showed success but no QR code. Took a screenshot and printed. Was only asked to see vaccine status at Larnaca & trnc border. All that worrying for nothing.

Using Metahan crossing so fingers crossed my wife has the same experience...
