Use RealPlayer. Select Audio CD Burner option and follow the steps.

If you are using windows, the built in 'Windows media player' has an perfectly adequate music CD burning facility built in-you need to go into the tools bit.
Otherwise there are lots of free programs around that are easy to use, this one is very good-

No offence to the other poster but i wouldn't use any 'real player' software-it tends to be full of ad-ware,and there are much better 'freeware' alternatives to it
What you have done is copied the MP3 files to a CD-what you need to do is create a 'bootable' music CD.
Please repost if you are still having problems after reading this or PM me.
Hope this helps.

I have copied hundreds (thousands?) of MP3 files using RealPlayer Audio cd burner option and all the cds play fine on conventional cd players...even those over 15 years old!
Real player is free unless you go for the "plus" versions!
Anyways I'm sure t'others are fine too...nice to have a choice and I could even try em out next time I want to copy!
