Speeding fines
Anyone know the easiest way to check if you have one. Can you check online nowadays or do you have to go to the police station.

Police station. Go in the front door. Past the desk (or ask the desk sergeant where to go.) Turn right. Door on the left marked something like “Speed Cameras”.
The officers have always been most courteous to me - especially since after three months of asking each time the answer was “clear”!
Note that it can take a month or more for a traffic camera reading to come through it seems.
And I was sure that I’d been flashed - but obviously mistaken!

Re: Speeding fines
Twice a year I just pop into the desk on the RHS as you go into Reception and speak to a 16 year. He just fiddles around on computer and says yes or no. Last time he said Yes, so I paid my fine and was told the points would stay on DL for 15 months. He handed me a receipt and said "Don't do it again" Cheeky Monkey. Once I was directed to the Speed Camera room to speak to Inspector in charge. The fine was three years old and I said I wasn't going to pay it. He pressed a few buttons and said with a smile "Its gone now" Only in the TRNC eh!!! PS: Best to take a diary with you....... that way it might be possible to see who was driving the vehicle on that particular day!
