We have had some last minute cancellations on the Royal Caribbean cruise from Limassol on 2nd September, so there is a last minute opportunity to travel this summer to the Greek Islands & Israel.

Prices are just €750 per person for 8 nts in an inside cabin (we have 3 left)

Here are more details: https://centurycyprus.com/cruise-from-l ... caribbean/

Century Travel are a British owned and operated company in the south that deal with clients all over the island. Visit our website www.centurycyprus.com or send us an email info@centurycyprus.com and we'll be happy to help with all of your travel arrangements.

You say British-owned and operated company, what do you mean by that ?

I have looked at your website and I can't see that you have any license, or are that not required ?

I just wondered how secure my monies would be if I booked.

Read the terms and conditions, looks like they are licensed. Also you take out Insurance to cover Cruises and Covid Insurance. Just like any other cruise holiday in any other country.
Choose your spouse, friend, relative, in difficult days. On a good day, no one shows their purity.

So how would that work with 90/180 days? Leaving from/ returning to Limassol may possibly leave any takers open to future overstayer fines should they reside in north?
Until it actually is ‘one island’ there’s a very limited market 😢

And if a British subject you couldn't leave your car while on the cruise. I use to cat feed for so many that used to have weekends or mid week breaks in the South but now the car can only go for 1 day they are now heading to west and east.

It's basically stopped anyone living here in the north from going on holiday via the south ports or airports. You would be illegally leaving as you will have already been in the north for too long. They may let you leave with a fine or warning. However they won't let you return that route for 5 years. Or at least that's the warning friends have had. So no cruises from Limassol .I was booked on one and was going to rebook after the pandemic. Cannot do that now. Shame

Is CenturyTravel, not aware of the problems UK citizens from the North have when embarking on a holiday such as they advertise. ?

There's always ways to get around the rules.
1) You could be flying into RoC, take the cruise, then cross to North after.
2) Cross over from North to South to take Cruise, then fly out from RoC within your 90/180 days.
3) If Lon/Cyp or EU Citizen, then no restrictions, so no problem with 90/180 visa.
4) If restrictions apply, then cross over by Taxi or get friends to drop you off. No need to take your own car and park up in South.

If I wanted a cruise I think I'd rather nip over to Turkey and board a cruise from there.

It's all well and good all of this but as an ex-ABTA, IATA, and ATOL travel agent I can see no sort of genuine license this company holds that protects your money.

The same here I would never buy a ticket from an agent in the North, always buy via credit card direct with the airline.

The last time I went South, I was treated like an Illegal immigrant...
