SNP win highest number of seats but Labour have control of Glasgow
Labour get big gains in England , Scotland and Wales with over 800 seats
Labour gains at expense of .Conservative and Lib Dem loses.
Labour win almost half seats in Wales
Conservative lose over 400 seats
Liberal Democrats lowest number of seats since they started

Hi Soner, thanks for the update re UK local elections. To be honest I haven,t been taking much interest. Too busy trying to get my head around the TRNC political system as I will be eligable to vote in the next elections here.

it was only to be expected who ever got into power would have had to take the crap, only time will tell when it pans out

Says it all for me when someone dressed as a PENQUIN gets more votes than the LibDem candidate !

This was the local elections. Local councils. Only approx 35% turnout. Yes general election is in 2014.
