South to North in a hire car

Hi I used to do this journey lots of times over the last 17 years. I am doing it again in October having a few weeks in the south and coming to the north for a week and returning back to Larnaca airport. I think the last time we did it it cost 25 euros for a months insurance cover. Has anyone done this journey recently and just for one week? Can you get cover for one week?

I believe minimum insurance is one month.
