I hope everyone had an enjoyable day, I thought I would post as nothing new.

We had cooked and eaten Christmas Eve, yesterday after my hip replacement had 20 staples out. Made Gary's day the 20 squeaks that came from me.
Had a lovely lunchtime drink at The Lodge, watched the rain, returned home and fell asleep :)

Hope that you are well on your road to recovery snd, can't have been an easy time for you. Makes my dose of the lurgy going about, pale into insignificance in comparison. I spent most of the day sleeping, only getting up to feed the dog and let him out for a while. Still he did enjoy his Christmas dinner accompanied by bread sauce.
Hope everyone had a great day.

Four of us had a lovely Christmas meal at the Red Ribbon in Karakum. Well presented, served hot, a nice gap in between courses, the nicest Christmas pudding and custard I have ever tasted followed by a brandy and coffee, reasonably priced too, thank you Red Ribbon.

Get well soon! Glad your dog was still your top priority:)

Thanks snd, I hope so too. Oh yes for sure my dog gets top priority, wouldn't be without him keeping me amused. Not so sure I'm enjoying the getting licked to death on any bare skin bits like feet and elbows at the moment to wake me up, but it does make me laugh.
