Replacement GOOP for cars with no spare wheel

Sorry but can’t think of the real name for this product! It is the bottle of “Goop” that you use with the emergency tyre - Get You Home - kit that most modern cars have in place of a spare wheel.

Once used you need to get the tyre repaired at your earliest time - BUT - what if you have another puncture in a different tyre on the way?? Or, what do you do when you have used the bottle of “Goop” ???

Has anyone actually used their kit and if so have you managed to get a new/replacement bottle of “Goop” from anywhere in the TRNC??

Not from eBay/Amazon or any other postal source thank you, maybe available in the ROC but have not seen any myself as yet.

Thanks in advance.

Apparently it's called Sealant. Motor City Girne may be able to help.

Think it will be easier - and far cheaper - to just buy some more tins of the tyre repair/inflator stuff I have used for years, available in most car spares shops North and South. Thanks for the help guys.

If you Google Goop in TRNC it comes up with a company called Rapa Ltd....https://www.carcarecyprus.com/en/resources/rapa
Maybe you can call them, seem to have branches.

Im always very nervous that I might have a tyee problem. When I bought my latest car, I must have had a brain storm because I didn't look under where a spare tyre would normally be, instead there is loads and loads of mechanical gizmo. I haven't a clue what its all for, I did once go to a tyre outlet and politely asked if someone could explain to me, but all I got was the Mediterranean shrug.

BJB, If what you found was a bottle of sealant and a square device that you plug into your 12V electrical outlet (Fag lighter) then it is a simple to use bit of kit. Google it and you will find instructions.

Slightly off topic, I once owned a VW Beetle that came without a fuel gauge, interesting times in the middle of German Winters.
