Phone signal

My son is flying out tomorrow via Larnaca He is staying in South Nicosia overnight and then going North via Ledra Street. He needs to make contact with someone on the North side who is meeting him. Will his mobile get a signal on both sides?

There will be somewhere in south Nicosia at or close to where your son is staying, with WiFi. WhatsApp or Messenger will work over WiFi - if both users have and use these apps.
