BA flights to Larnaca

Finally BA are starting flights from Gatwick to Larnaca from June. The prices seem pretty reasonable,from £184 return with luggage and the times are good too. They also do hand luggage only tickets which work out at £20 less but you can still take a decent size cabin bag, a laptop bag or handbag. I've already starting thinking about dates for coming over!

Partial good news I fear, just tried to book for 1st week in Octobern for a 3 week stay.
Could get out on the 2nd of October but no flights back on the 21st.
Fear this may just be a seasonal service, I hope not.

Thanks for that info, just phoned BA and they transferred my Heathrow flight with the rubbish times to the Gatwick route free of charge. Now I am no longer losing an evening and morning of my holiday.

Hi, the service is not daily but certainly extends to December 2012 and April 2014.
The web site is slightly deficient for the prompt to point you to flights on alternative days is not that clear.

Sorry should have pointed out that they fly 3 times a week, Sunday, Monday and Friday. Did read on a business forum that they had some good prices for August at the moment, but expect they will get snapped up pretty quickly! It's not a seasonal servie as I have been looking for next February.

BA does not fly Gatwick/Larnaca in June 2013. It does in early May 2014 and I asssume will also in June 2014 but this cannot be booked and won't appear on the web site until approx 356 days before flight

I am just hoping they change their ludicrous over night flights into LCA from Heathrow.

We are also hoping they change the LHR summer flight times although you may have noticed that the winter schedule is satisfactory.
We are flying on the overnight plane on 31st May and I do not think it is anything like full. We just upgraded the outward leg for £99 each whereas a few weeks ago they were looking for something like £300

Brighton Jim sometimes it isnt worth upgrading cos if the plane isnt full you can get the 3 seats in the middle and lay down (if you are able to sleep on a plane, I'm not).

The winter flight schedule starts 1st November. Think I've narrowed it down and flights from Gatwick start 30th June.
