Tempo catalkoy had it in the ethnic food section when I was in the other day,as I was looking for mustard oil which they used to stock but didn't have.

Deniz- bottom shelf on the right in the ethnic food section (As I recall) next to coconut powder, and tinned coconut milk.
It's not in the 'Oil section' as logic suggests it should be.

THanks Panchocat and fatouche. My local pharmacy sells it too but its 98tl for a small amount which is ridiculous. The last time I bought a bottle it was about 5 ytl.

Deniz- I was In Tempo catalkoy today, and what I told you was Coconut oil was In fact palm oil.
Sorry about that!-had the wrong glasses on.
Does the coconut blocks that they sell not make coconut oil when it's melted?

Re: Greek side coconut oil.
Deniz- I know you got sorted out a while back, but Tempo In Catalkoy had 4 jars of coconut oil in day before yesterday(I had 'seeing' glasses on this time!).
It was in the 'ethnic' section, bottom shelf on the right, next to palm oil.
I thought you might want to stock up,as you have had problems buying it before.

I use it too; I cook with it, and use it on my skin and hair. If you want to see how versatile it is, google 101 ways to use coconut oil.
