Having read all the horror stories regarding shipments from the UK to the TRNC, we decided that we would carry on regardless. After reading posts on Kibkom and emailing one of the shippers mentioned (without any replies) we ended up talking to Chris Smallwood and Ellen Clay at Britania Anchor in North Manchester.

After an initial survey, costs were provided and we decided to use their services.
Excellent packing service, Full inventory of our goods were provided along with the vessels details arrival dates etc.
Once we arrived here, we had plenty of time on our hands to follow the ships course (sad I know). http://www.marinetraffic.com

We received confirmation of the ships progress via the shipping Company (Armen Shipping Famagusta) who informed us of the documantation we had to provide. A relatively quick visit to Girne Police HQ for our ins and outs, followed by a visit to the Muhtar for validation of our address.

On the day our crate arrived at Famagusta (Friday), we had to meet one of the shipping agents at the Gumruck in Hespolat, he did all the talking and produced all our documentation and within half an hour it was completed. ( honestly, we could not beleive it either).

The following Thursday, our crate arrived, swiftly unloaded, no customs officers, just had to sign a delivery note and pay for two "television licences"?
No other costs were incurred apart fom the compulsary postage stamps for the ins and outs and 10 YTL to the Muhtar.

Everything arrived, no damage, no breakages at all, even a wrapped up, rogue lightbulb that found its way in our crate arrived unscathed.

Fantastic all in service highly reccomended.
