Mağusa road (in Lefkoşa) closed Saturday morning

About a 2-km section of Mağusa road from the big ("S**t-on-a-Stick") roundabout will be closed tomorrow from 8am until about 12 noon ... for the main "20 Temmuz" ceremony.

For those needing to go to Ercan airport from the Girne area, my advice would be to take the Buffavento/Five Fingers road over the mountains. If you have to travel through Lefkoşa, then from Girne go straight, straight, straight, and then fork left at the junction in front of the Merit Hotel. After about half a mile you'll come to the bus station roundabout. Turn left there and after about two miles you'll come back out to a section of the Mağusa road not closed for the ceremony.
