8 Seater car hire

My friend is looking to hire an 8 seater car for 2 weeks in august.

Any suggestions please of where to go?

Hi,
Spent quite a lot of time looking into this earlier this year for September. We had a Connect with 6 adults in June which was fine. With 8 adults very room for little else and beach stuff etc. would mostly have to be on knees. So do-able for short distances only. We have gone for the 2 car option in September. If you go the Connect route and you have kids involved make sure row 3 has seatbelts, it doesn't come as standard. Apparently there are restriction on hire companies as to the number of seats they can have.

Kathsj you are quite right we had a Ford connect when filled with passengers not even room for a buggy,I am sure Dennis if you call Ozzy as I mentioned in earlier posts he has got proper 8 seater hire vehicles .

I had this problem 10 years ago so we left one person with the luggage drove the others to where we were staying but that was only 20 mins away and then collect the miner and the luggage for the return reverse the process for departure
van derivatives people carriers do not have luggage capacity
so if using Ercan people in taxi luggage in people carrier simples

We use a-one, (they do £25 ew transfers from LCA for up to 4 people with 1 week car rental) their 8 seaters are the Connect again.
