The Department of Telecomunications today apologised to those, like myself, who were unable to use the internet for most of today due to a problem with its ADSL system.

Thanks for the info. I was able to use my dongle but my main internet was not available. I thought perhaps it was time I paid my annual subscription, but obviously not. sl sorry for those who do not have a back up! thanks so much for clarifying what the problem was.

They have been working on the ADSL system again today. The relevant minister apparently thanked the public for their understanding.
