Solar Flares ?

All last weekend I had problems with my internet connection constantly dropping out and generally poor speeds.
I contacted the nice lady at Multimax,and she tested my connection and said there was no problem.

It got so bad I missed most of the exciting bit of the cricket on Sunday(and that was online radio-not TV).

Today,my connection is great(as it usually is).

This afternoon I was listening to a 'boffin type' on the radio saying that there had been some severe solar storms over the previous few days,and these affected radio and other signals-explained here-

Given that the system Multimax use is 'Line of sight' wireless,it seems a fair guess to me that that might be the reason.

Did anyone else have problems?
