I picked up my first issue of CYPRIADA: Russian/English Magazine of Northern Cyprus!!!! I love it! I was disappointed to notice it was the 4th issue, so I missed 3.
Anyways, I figure I start a thread about it since I didn't see one before.

We picked up a copy at the Lemar Checkout last week. I enjoyed it, but the language looks flippin difficult though.

Are these magazines still out??? granted I get out very rare but when I do I go to Lemar and I haven't seen these mags. Today I decided to make kisir, used the issue I had (old) and wondered where I could get more and appreciated that kibkomtimes is online so I can access it (and older issues) anytime i want.

I've seen 2 versions scattered in a couple venues, but they do appear to be a rare as hens teeth. I picked up the last one they had in Lemar. i agree about the language, as bad as Greek to my ears and eyes.

You can pick up the magazine at the office during working hours, the company is called Art and Graph and it is next to Upper Crust in Karakum.

The editor is called Kate and she will be happy to hear your comments about the magazine.

Cypriada magazine is now ready to publish a new issue, No 6. It is planned for mid September. It will be available free of charge in all Lemar shops in Kyrenia as well as in Tempo, shop of Russian products "Colibri", and some other shopping centers. Usually it is issued every 2 months.

Thank you Catherine... so around the mid month I am going to keep an eye out for it. issue #6 Wish I had been able to get the other issues- oh well.

So I made a trip to the Art graph place and asked about the magazine(s). And she had a lot of copies of the last 2 older issues... I told her about Lemar, that I can't seen anymore since I got Issue 4. They print issues every 2 months (doh!) and give certain amount to the Lemar shops. Luckily this place is near me so I can walk if I want to. Its fun to read the articles and funny how I can find some relation to my self in the them.
