Good neighbours

My dear neighbours lovely cypriot folk knew my car was empty today and tonight they brought me half a tankfull of petrol in several water bottles that they got from a garage in Girne. Bless them.

In my nine years living here I have had nothing but kindness from my neighbours the only odd ones were ex pats!

just to say we also have wonderful cypriot neighbours .they are thoughtful and caring and we love them dearly.we think we are blessed that we live next door to them.

We are similarly blessed. Our neighbours were disgusted at what we were paying for tanker water and insisted that, in future all water must come from their well!

They will not allow us to pay anything at all for this and so I bake for them, home made pizzas, muffins, apple pies etc.

It makes a huge difference to us to be not just accepted into the local community but to be accepted fully as friends and neighbours.

One tcyp neibour today got me 2 bottles of water from the garage the other tcyp dumps his garden mess and anything else he doesn't require outside my front gate so horses for courses, there not all great. I fact I'm going round tomoz to tell him,wish me luck.
