PREMATCH; DUZKAYA v ESENTEPE.

Tomorrow Esentepe face a difficult match, when they travel to Catalkoy to face local rivals Duzkaya. Duzkaya are one of richer clubs in the League, but also are “underachievers”, and with their money should be in the Premier League. Duzkaya this season have beaten at home Turkmenkoy 2-1, and lost away last week 3-1 to Binatli.
Esentepe having drawn both their opening 2 games at home 0-0, should be unchanged. Midfielder Huseyin sits out his final game under suspension, Aras and Basak are still missing with. long term injuries. So Esentepe squad is once again down to the bare bones. We must play much better than last week, hopefully the midfield can create chances, as we are looking a little clueless in attack.
The player we are greatly missing this season is midfielder Ugurcan, who, due to work commitments, will be not available this Season. We are missing his energy in midfield as he appears to do the work of 2 players. Our midfield it seems, are slow getting back to help the defence leading to some desperate defending.

A poor performance by Esentepe, despite hitting the woodwork twice, we created little and were always second best. Duzkaya goals were scored by Erdogan and Basak. Basak was on loan to Duzkaya last season from Esentepe, and scored their second goal. Ironically Basak got injured in Duzkaya last match of the season, and now having returned to Esentepe is out for a long period with this injury.
