Re: Christmas Cards
Yes St Andrews Church does (and they take stamps which they send to the Helen Keller Home for the Blind - trimmed please). Just put them inside the door - preferably on Saturday so they don't get nicked and can be collected on Sunday. Make sure you don't hand over cards with private message in though!!

Re: Christmas Cards
As my cards are only just arriving in my postbox, this mornings batch was stamped in Lefkosa on Nov 25, I will wait a bit longer to recycle.
What on earth has happened with postal delivery this last Christmas, in previous years they have all been delivered before Christmas. This year we hardly received any although I know of lots that had been posted to us.

We don't have a PO box, I meant our box at the bottom of the drive, but interesting to note that your delivery percentage is low too.
Is not using the postal codes affecting delivery does anyone know?

Re: Christmas Cards
On Thursday afternoon we were checking out our PO Box and a van driver was unloading four large sacks of post. Hopefully by Monday it is all sorted and I might get my cards.

Re: Christmas Cards
Although 50% of our cards were very kindly brought over in one go from UK, I would say the remaining expected 50% have arrived safely. albeit 2 or 3 came around 30th December. All had Air Mail stickers but not all PO Codes. One infamous sender, put his usual 2nd Class UK stamp on and still we got it. He does it every year without fail. He reckons the UK system is so overloaded his card "just slips through". Tut, tut.

Re: Christmas Cards
Tulips have justannounced their need for cards. You can read all about it in the current edition of KibKom Times,. Two of the drop off points are the BestSeller bookshops, either Karakum or Alsancak. I am sure that Sue or Carole will pick up on this and give you even more info, but I am equally sure that they really DO want those cards to ensure they have a super super supply for next year. They have some really talented folk who make these cards, (and sell them - people such as Sarah Massey who made and sold nearly 300tl worth for Tulips.)
